Couple prosecuted for illegal ammo

A couple accused of storing illegal ammunition pleaded their innocence in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.

Charged with illegal possession of ammunition is Kedric Campbell and Latoya Rawlins. They were remanded until December 16.

The Crown is alleging that about 3:45 p.m. on November 17, a raid was carried out at a premises at Marlboro Avenue, St Andrew.

During the search, six rounds of 9mm cartridges were found under a mattress in a bedroom occupied by the couple. Following investigations, they were charged.
