Jailed after boxing aunt

An apology was all an aunt wanted from her nephew after he boxed her in her face, however, his unwillingness to do so landed him in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court Friday.

Charged with assault is 22-year-old Wayne Henry.

He pleaded guilty to the offence and gave the court an explanation.

Henry, who was remanded overnight for refusing to stand properly in court, was more relaxed this time around.

He said, "Your Honour, she a talk and me a talk and she come up ina mi face and juck mi ina mi face and mi lick har."

Apologise

Senior Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey said, "In life, you have to decide if you are gonna be a man or a cruff. Apologise to your aunt!"

Henry turned to the complainant and said, "I am sorry, and I wont do it again!"

No evidence was offered and he was free to go.

"Go home and take care of your auntie," Pusey said.
