Raging Fyah to release new album

Raging Fyah

With the release of Raging Fyah's successful Judgment Day album in 2011, fans worldwide are looking forward to the next hit from this young reggae band.

They do not have long to wait as the Destiny Album will be officially released in early 2014. The lead single from this new album is already set to take reggae fans on a spiritual journey.

Jah Glory urges fans to constantly give God thanks regardless of their circumstances and to never forget "Jah Love", something the young band has learned over the years.

"We have gone through a lot since we started working together in 2006 at Edna Manley College, and those experiences really influence our style and content," bass player of Raging Fyah, Pele, said.

The inspiration for their track came from their own experiences and from analysing the world at large. Raging Fyah has had the opportunity to tour many parts of the world since its first album was released, hitting the stage at many of the coveted European festivals, including Rototom Sunsplash. Their experiences have positioned them in a unique place to create the music the world wants to hear.

Working with Frankie Music Productions on Jah Glory is also a new experience for them as they usually keep production in house. They were, however, impressed by the label's work ethic and track record and decided it was a good move to make.

Plans are already under way to shoot a video for the single and add visuals to the spell-binding words of Jah Glory. The band will be performing this track live at its monthly event, Wickie Wackie LIVE, on January 4 at Wickie Wackie in Bull Bay, St Andrew.
