As the 30th anniversary of Sting approaches, dancehall artiste, Bookie, has made his intentions very clear as he has called upon Gage to "defend it".

"I want him to present himself coz him a call up Uncle Demon name and him nuh know Uncle Demon, him nuh know Tommy Lee a who," Bookie told The weekend Star.

"Tommy Lee look pon me an say 'Bookie him nuh bad like even one a you boot lace so hear wa nuh, you know say mi wa you rub out da bwoy ya fi mi', and mi deven gi him a second talk, mi jus ago do it," he enthused.

This is following the release of Gage's diss song called Gaza Defender that takes shots at rival recording artiste Tommy Lee Sparta.

Bookie, whose real name is Shamrock Bloomfield, states that his passion for music started from a very young age. He is originally from Savanna-la-mar, Westmoreland, but moved to Kingston at the age of 29 to further build his musical career.

"I grew up in the garrison and tru mi always a knock drum and a deejay, the yutes dem say 'you know say you sound bad Bookie, mi like how you sound' and since then I been building on my passion," he revealed

At 15, Bookie started to take his music more seriously and continued his journey. "We go so boom and say you know say mi like the name Bookie, mi start pree the music put two line together, and it moved from there," he said.

Bookie had been on a four- year break, however he is back to take the dancehall scene by storm. One track that he notes is currently gaining airplay is Real Happy Christmas, a collaboration with Lisa Hyper. He also notes that he is about to release a collaboration that he did with Vybz Kartel before he was incarcerated.

He also states that he is working on projects with Andrew Blacks, UIM Records and Young Vibez Production, among others. Bookie notes that he is currently in contact with a producer in French Guiana and others from the United States.

"Quite a few persons want to do a collaboration with me, Popcaan is interested, Tommy Lee was supposed to, but he met in an accident and Lisa Hyper came and did a song," he shared. "Right now though, since Chris Gayle have a bad artiste, him fi send him to Jam world coz mi ready fi him."
