United Kingdom-based international entertainment promoter, David Anderson, will again set the Clarendon parish capital, May Pen, ablaze with his annual Spanga Bunga's party series.

According to Anderson, the highly anticipated parties will, for the first time, be staged over two days, at its customary location - the old police station.

Anderson, of Clarendon's Music Awards (CMA) fame, said the event, started three years ago, has garnered a loyal following and has become a staple among partygoers in central Jamaica. He said his promotion team is expecting another successful staging in 2013.

great success

"The management of Temperature Entertainment is expecting the two-day Spanga Bunga parties to be another great success," declared Anderson, Temperature Entertainment's CEO. "The Spanga Bunga party series has become one of the most sought-after parties and the series is in its third year running, and from all indication, the 2013 segment, which will be held over two days, is expected to, again, shell dung May Pen."

He said the shows will kick off on Christmas Eve with a family orientated theme setting, 'Spanga Bunga Land', is replete with merry-go-rounds, bounce-about, slides, trampolines, various rides, food, music and other fun stuffs for the entire family.

"This year, we will kick off the party on Grand Market Day. We want to reintroduce old-time Christmas in Clarendon again, with fun and entertainment for the entire family," the promoter promised.

"The show will take a break on Christmas Day but resume Boxing Day with an adult-only water party, 2 (p.m.) to 2 (a.m.). This segment will feature some of Jamaica's hottest disc jockeys."

Confirmed to rock May Pen over the two days are DJ Ice, Slaughter House, DJ Ikon, Presi Mafia and Wray Donaldson from Stingray Sound, with music from Clarendon's top sound, Audio Tex.

Classic Dancers, Flava British and Caution Dancers are also booked to excite the expected throng of partygoers.

With a résumé that boasts shows in the United Kingdom, the United States and Jamaica, the party promoter has insisted that Temperature Entertainment will live up to its top billing and give patrons a memorable party experience.
