Good year for Nature's Way Entertainment

Florida-based reggae production label Nature's Way Entertainment is celebrating an impressive milestone. The label enjoyed its most fruitful year in 2013 with chart topping singles, licensing and distribution deals.

CEO for the label, Garfield Cowan, and his wife, Sanya, as well as recording artiste Alva are the persons behind the fledgling production unit.

"2013 was a very blessed and grateful year for Nature's Way Entertainment. Some of the high moments for the label include the release of Alva's album, I've Got Life, which is doing very well thanks to distribution by Zojack Worldwide. We also released the various artistes compilation Soul Reggae, which features a number of acts including Wayne Wonder, Alva, Christopher Martin, Jah Mason and others. We also got a distribution deal for Soul Reggae through VP Records. One of the tracks from Soul Reggae, You and Me by Busy Signal was featured on Reggae Gold 2013 compilation. The Soul Reggae compilation is also doing very well around the world," Cowan said in a media release.

Nature's Way Entertainment released other projects throughout the year including singles from King Mas' album (due for release in May 2014). The Sweet Personality various artistes compilation rhythm was another project which garnered great feedback. Some of the artistes featured include King Mas, Jah Cure, Wayne Wonder, Alva, Chezidek, Zamunda and others.

Singles produced by Nature's Way Entertainment were featured on compilations distributed by independent companies. Wake Up by Jah Cure was featured on Tads Records' Hit List Volume 5 and VP Records' Strictly the Best Volume 48. Singer Christopher Martin's Change Me Plans is featured on the Hit List Vol. 5.

Nature's Way Entertainment also teamed up with Typhoon Music to co produce the hit single Miss Vanity, which was recorded by King Mas. The single, which is distributed by VP Records, is also doing well at present.

Going into 2014, the label promises to keep giving music fans the best in music.

"First and foremost, we plan to continue making hit songs and real reggae music. For Nature's Way Entertainment, music is life and going into the new year we will be releasing new albums for King Mas and Alva. We also have a new album from Grammy nominee Wayne Wonder called Sweet Songs, which is to be released. There's a lot more work in the pipeline," Cowan revealed.
