King Dreams Records dancehall artiste Famous Twenty is pleased with the trajectory of his career so far. The video for his bouncy new single, 'Let's Have A Party', has been in heavy rotation on local TV.

Since the single became a local hit, Famous Twenty has found that a mix of local and overseas-based producers have been sending beats his way.

"I have done some work with producers such as Jawara Ellis from Rave Entertainment, Ryan J from Philadelphia, and established producers such as Mad Spider from Orlando. I also have recorded a few songs for King Dreamz Entertainment," he said.

These singles will be released during the first quarter of 2014.

Famous Twenty has also landed a couple of gigs in Florida, especially in the Orlando and Tampa areas.

"Right now, I am getting ready to head to Canada and countries in the Caribbean. I am also doing some street work with Andrew Powell, he has been servicing the single to selectors in the Corporate Area," he revealed.

In the meantime, the single, which also features the ice cream-smooth vocals of singer Malica, is blowing up on FM radio.

"Mi love the energy so far for Let's Have A Party, the song deh pon a lot of the local entertainment blogs and some disc jockeys just start show me some love," he said.

The single appears on the King Dreams Records imprint, and is already getting play at some of the street dances in the Corporate Area.

The label, King Dreams Records, released a music video which is now in rotation on HYPE, CVM, RE and E Plus. He is now in the island where he is heavily promoting the video, doing interviews on HYPE TV, FIWI Choice, and on Suzie Q's 'Video Alley' on TVJ.

"Dancehall fans have been responding well to the video so far. This week, mi ah focus on the media interviews, and then next week, mi plan to do road hard, every street dance, every spot where people gather, mi ah go give out hundreds of CDs so the people can have the music," he said.

Famous Twenty is third-generation reggae royalty as he is the grandson to the late great Alton Ellis. However, he is not relying only on his superstar genes to push him to stardom, he believes in hard work and determination. Born Cary O'Connor on September 25, 1981 in Kingston, he was raised by both parents Georgia Ellis and Courtney O'Connor. He grew up in Kingston 12, also known as Trench Town.
