Woman on fraud rap to know fate next month

A woman accused of collecting rent on behalf of a landlord then using the money for her own purposes will know her fate next month.

Charged with fraudulent conversion is Pamela Dawkins.

Yesterday when the matter was called up in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's court, the accused pleaded not guilty to the offence.

The court heard that Dawkins was employed to the complainant to collect money from tenants for a period in 2012-2013.

The court was told that more than $110,000 had not been paid over to the landlord.

Dawkins is to return to court on February 18 for plea and case management.
