Chevaughn releases 'Hopeless Romantic' EP
Art imitates life as a regular rule and more so as the rule for the brand new 'Hopeless Romantic' EP by constantly evolving vocalist Chevaughn.

Chevaughn is in love with the idea of love, even if love doesn't go according to plan; the idea of being able to fix oneself, change others and be a consistent optimist through the challenges of love is the driving force behind the project. His own personal experiences as well, motivated the content of his highly anticipated EP, set for an early 2014 release.

Chevaugh is no stranger to creating great music, after winning the Tastee Talent Contest at age 10, he moved on to stints with Fab 5, Unique Vision and the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission before starting Edna Manley College and becoming part of the Further Notice and C Sharp bands, where he performed as lead vocalist. His solo career, however, took to the forefront in 2009 with the recording of the remarkably popular summer smash Holiday with Ding Dong.

With the release of his first ever solo recording project, Chevaughn hopes to display a different level of expression, giving listeners the opportunity to get to know him and be able to relate to his experiences.

Initiated by his label, Frankie Music, as well as Notice Productions, the project comprises tracks that have been written as far back as three years ago to current tracks penned after a recent failed relationship. Chevaughn believes in the thought that 'love is timeless' and every thought has relevance even though they were conceptualised years before.

"Hopeless Romantic EP is where people will be able to see and meet, me - the real me, the hopeless romantic me - and with that they will find I'm just like them and appreciate my thoughts that much more," Chevaughn shared.

The Hopeless Romantic project isn't all 'sappy' songs and sad music though, as the track list is equally filled with reflective and happy ballads. These songs include Sweet And Mellow, Head Over Heels, a cover version of John Legend's This Time, as well as an exciting collaboration called Cleaner with deejay Spragga Benz.

With just a few weeks away from its official release, Chevaughn is also gearing up to release videos for the lead singles from the project. Hopeless Romantic is definitely new music to catapult a brand new year for this talented artiste.
