Shebada denies dissing spice

Comedian/actor Keith 'Shebada' Ramsey, is disassociating himself from a Facebook fan page, which launched an attack on dancehall artiste Spice recently.

The fan page, which has almost 30,000 likes and bears the comedian's face, last week unleashed a slew of slanderous posts against the artiste for reasons which are currently unclear.

The administrator for the page posted several pictures of the dancehall artist with captions discrediting her celebrity status.

"You would never catch me as a celebrity showing off that I'm eating at 'Dunkin' Donuts' unlike the b... name Spice, I'd have the decency to hide the donut bag and cover my face when I walk out if I'm that desperate for food."

Spice could be seen in the picture posing in front a Dunkin' Donuts store.

Not a real celebrity

Another picture of the artist waiting to collect her bags at an airport had a caption which read, "sorry, but Spice is not a real celebrity! Aside from the face that she fly commercial, she don't have no bodyguard or nobody to help her luggage, nobody in the pic even a notice seh is a celebrity dat."

Ramsey told THE STAR that he is aware of the fan page and the posts, but stated that he does not know the page's creators.

"I don't know what's going on, it's not me who is running the fan page, me report it to Facebook over and over again and it's still there," he said.

He also stated that he has received numerous phone calls and has been approached by persons questioning his reasons for attacking the female artiste.

"I don't have anytime for Facebook and fan page. I am busy working, me and her a friend and we talk so why would I get up and diss Spice? Fi wah?" a distraught sounding Ramsey told THE STAR.

When contacted, Spice told THE STAR that she was not aware of the fan page and the disparaging posts. "I'm not aware of this, I just got back on the island, I was away on tour," she said.
