Rasbert Turner, Star Writer

The St Catherine Major Investigation Task Force is still searching for the body of one of two men murdered in Newlands, Port-more, yesterday.

Those killed have been identified as Franklyn Robinson, 47-year-old cabinet maker and 42-year-old Dane 'Vigilante' Cross both of Newlands, Portmore.

Police reports are that about 9 p.m. on Monday residents heard explosions after Robinson went home.

His body was found in a gutter near his home with gunshot wounds.

His head was found metres away.

Meanwhile, Councillor Ainsley Parkins said he is giving a $200,000 reward for the capture of the killers.

Parkins also said the police needed to be proactive and capture the men.

Residents told The Star that Robinson's stepfather was also killed by gunmen last year.

Police personnel have since increased their presence in the area.
