Fast-rising reggae singer Oriel is upbeat about his soon-to-be released single, Give Me A Reason, done in tandem with top-flight reggae crooner Richie Stephens.

"I'm very happy about the song because it's a very good song. The lyrics are powerful and uplifting. The rhythm is awesome. Richie and I did a good job. Our vocal performance on Give Me A Reason is solid. I have to give Mr Stephens a lot of props. He's an awesome singer and songwriter, working with him was a great experience."

Top radio jocks, including Big A and Digital Chris of IRIE FM, and HITZ 92 FM DJs, Garfield Hamilton, Rodrick Howell and Kennet Reid, have already given the song the thumbs up.

"The feedback we are getting about the song is awesome. A lot of people including radio DJs are saying it's going to be a very big hit. My management team is organising a strong promotional campaign to ensure that we make Give Me A Reason into a massive hit," said the artiste.

Give Me A Reason was produced by Afar Music Group and co-written by Oriel and Richie Stephens. The rhythm for the song was created by Lloyd 'Cookie' Willacy.

Give Me A Reason will be released on iTunes on January 13. A supporting music video will be released in March.
