Teflon promises to deliver at 'Rebel Salute'

Closing out 2013 with a bevy of high-energy performances at events such as LIME Christmas Mission Road Show, Irie FM Street Dance and Over Rave in Margaritaville, Ocho Rios, Rastafarian singer Teflon is intent on maintaining that momentum with the unveiling of the new year.

Booked to appear at the 21st staging of the much publicised 'Rebel Salute', Teflon says he wants his fans to come expecting nothing but a powerful and spiritual performance when he takes the stage at Richmond Park Estate next Saturday. His previous appearance years earlier came courtesy of Sizzla Kalonji, who then introduced him as a burgeoning star.

According to Yard A Love Records, who manages the singer, "Teflon has been absent from the Rebel Salute arena for a number of years and his return will mark a turning point in his career while allowing fans to witness the growth that has occurred since. He is a different artiste now with a lot more material and experience under his belt, so patrons will get a solid performance with all the classics and new material like Pedal. "

Rebel Salute, now a two-day festival, will unfold on January 17 and 18 at the Richmond Park Estate in Priory, St Ann.

Teflon's Love & Adore You recently topped the charts on CVM-TV 'Hitlist' and Hype TV 'VTX Countdown', spending several weeks at the apex and was voted one of the best reggae videos on the 'Hit-List Year In Review' show.

Later this month, the benevolent singer will be premiering a follow up video for Same Struggle, featuring iconic reggae singer Capleton. The project was shot by Christopher Campbell of Iceyjace Film Factory.
