Social inquiry requested for accused robbers

Senior Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey on Wednesday denied bail to a man and his accomplice accused of robbery and receiving stolen goods in the Corporate Area Magistrate's Court.

The two are Tiaon Wilson and Kevin Campbell.

The men, who both pleaded guilty, are to return to court on February 20 for sentencing.

The 24-year-old Wilson, who is from Kingston 13, is alleged to have relieved the complainant, Robert Campbell, of a Samsung Galaxy mobile phone, a Nexus tablet computer and $400.

Subsequently, it is believed the stolen cellular phone was turned over to Campbell to be sold.

RM Pusey has requested a social inquiry for both men so she could determined their sentences.
