Man remanded for stealing plastic bottles

A repeat offender was further remanded in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's court last Friday to answer to larceny.

Charged with larceny as a servant is 25-year-old Keon Daley.

He pleaded not guilty.

The court was told the accused man, while employed to a company in Kingston, stole 12 boxes of pet plastic bottles, each containing 14,000.

The goods are valued at $1.1 million.

Senior Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey asked Daley if it was his first time being charged, and he said, "No, your honour, I got charged with two others in the past for larceny ... but a no order was made".

He was then remanded until Wednesday when the matter will again be mentioned.
