Children and their caregivers from the Maxfield Park Children Home, SOS Children's Village, and the Sunbeam Boys Home, respectively, were recently treated to a showing of the movie Walking With Dinosaurs, courtesy of the Medical Association of Jamaica (MAJ).

The MAJ not only treated them to the 3D flick at the Sovereign Centre, St Andrew, with confectionary, but also provided face-painting done by Eon & Robby.

For the event, the 110 children and their caregivers who attended were given transportation from the Jamaica Urban Transit Company.

Dr Shane Alexis, MD, is the current president of the MAJ, and in his recent Christmas message noted to members of his association that, "As you reflect on the past year, and look forward to the coming year, please bear the following in mind: To whom much is given much is expected."
