Woman pleads not guilty to machete assault
A woman accused of using a machete to assault a man had the matter sent to trial Friday in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's court.

Charged with assault occasioning bodily harm is Keneisha Thomas.

She pleaded not guilty to the offence.

The court heard that Thomas allegedly used a machete to injure the complainant on his right elbow.

Thomas was told to give her fingerprints to the police and return to court on February 3 to stand trial.
