The Caymanas Polo Club recently hosted the ground-breaking electronic dance music (EDM) concert, Electronic Dance Xposed (EDX). Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum and Skyy Vodka presented the event, with the promoter being Adam Gomes.

EDX was touted by many of its attendees across various social networks as the first purist EDM festival to hit the island, because of its performers, production value, and aesthetics.

EDM lovers revelled throughout the night, with performances by Australian headlining act DJ Tydi, Las Vegas' DJ Lema, Russia's DJ Vika Koneva, DJ Kamal Bankay, DJ Kyle DeSouza, and Shane the Fyah Starter.

After the crowd began fist pumping to the EDM selections of DJ Vika Koneva and DJ Kamal Bankay, DJ Kyle DeSouza brought his seasoned electronic musical flair, which is heavily influenced by the EDM scene in South Florida.

DJ Lema showcased the panache of the Marquee nightclub in Las Vegas, as he commanded the attention of patrons with slick house music selections from Swedish House Mafia, Calvin Harris, and many more. His set lasted for almost an hour.

During the sets, attendees enjoyed cocktails, courtesy of Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum and Skyy Vodka.

Cecil Smith, group brand manager for rums at J. Wray & Nephew Limited, noted that: "Electronic Dance Xposed was a groundbreaking event for Jamaica. The event was the first of its kind in the island - a pure Electronic Dance Music event, and we were thrilled that Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum and SKYY Vodka were part of the team that brought this new and exciting event concept to Jamaica. EDX certainly lived up to the international standards set by EDM counterparts worldwide."
