Rasbert Turner, STAR Writer

The St Catherine South police have taken four men into custody in connection with a car-stealing ring operating between Old Harbour and Clarendon.

It is reported that the four men, although charged, are facing further investigation, therefore, their names have been withheld.

Two cars have been recovered so far.

THE STAR learnt that the vehicles were stolen in the Aviary Housing Scheme in St Catherine.

It was revealed that one of those held is a major player in the car stealing ring. It was said that he lured others in the ring by sometimes threatening them to thief "or else".

The men were held on December 10 following intensive investigations.
