Asfa building strong buzz

Reggae singer Asfa is creating a buzz over the local airwaves with his single titled Many Are Called.

The success of the single has led to a number of appearances on events for the artiste in recent times.

Over the last two months, the August Town native has performed on a number of events including Sea Queen, which was held at Sugarman's Beach, Ghetto Splash, Comfitanya Live, Rasta Man Vibration, Noddy and Friends, and Building Shashamane. With each performance, he continues to build his fan base.

"Many Are Called is doing very well and it's really helping to open a lot of doors for me. I've been very busy over the last few weeks, and I've been doing a lot of shows and the responses have been very good," he said.

Asfa recently shot a music video for Many Are Called which will be ready by the end of the month.

"I'm very excited about the video, it should be ready for release by the end of the month. I really want to see how the public will react to it," said the artiste.

According to Asfa's manager, Roger Grant, he believes that Asfa will soon become a household name in reggae music.

"Asfa has a very good work ethic and he is determined to succeed. I especially admire his humility and willingness to learn. I strongly believe he's going to be a force to be reckoned with in reggae in the not too distant future," said Grant.
