Jokes will be on for January and the new year will be off to a laughter-filled start for lovers of humour.

This, as prolific producers of top-class comedic events, Ellis International, resumes monthly staging of their live stand-up comedy series 'Comedy Cafe'.

The comedy and variety entertainment series, which will see a show on the last Wednesday of each month starting Wednesday, January 29, 2014, returns to the salubrious setting of Beach Café on Brompton Road in New Kingston, St Andrew, where it all began early last year.

This month's humour feast will feature the super talented and versatile Dr Michael Abrahams alongside high-riding Kathy Grant, who is rapidly making a name for herself as the hottest female comedian around town, with special guest, hilarious YouTube sensation, Dutty Berry.

Top comic duo Ity and Fancy Cat will do duties as resident hosts and add to the excitement with their own brand of comic commentary and irreverent parodies, while engaging the audience in fun-filled interactive activities and sharing prizes and giveaways courtesy of main sponsors LIME.

Gates open at 7 p.m. and the show will start promptly at 8:30 p.m. Tickets for 'Comedy Cafe' are $800 pre-sold and $1,000 at the gate and limited pre-sold tickets are available everyday at South Beach Cafe, 2 Brompton Road (off Lady Musgrave Road), Kingston 5.

Patrons can get additional information by calling 542-4160.
