Chapelton prison escapees still at large

A hunt is still on for the four prisoners who were among six who escaped from the Chapelton police lock-up on Wednesday afternoon.

The other two have been recaptured.

The police say during a routine check about 4 p.m., it was discovered that the men were missing.

Up to press time last night, the police told THE WEEKEND STAR that the four prisoners were still on the run.

It is reported that the men cut a section of the grille in their cell.

Prisoners at large are:

1) Ezra East of Morgan's Pass, charged with larceny.

2) Oniel Stenneth of Coxwain district, for incest.

3) Omar 'Wingy' Campbell of Kellits, charged with rape.

4) George 'Breezy' Morgan of Brandon Hill, for murder.

The police are asking anyone with information that may lead to the re-capturing of these men to call 119.
