Father of murdered boy gets time to attend funeral

The father of the four-year-old boy, who was allegedly killed by a Jamaica-born transvestite has been temporarily freed from jail by a New Jersey judge.

It is reported that 37-year-old Okee Wade has been released for three weeks to allow him to attend his son's funeral.

Four-year-old Myls Dobson, who was reportedly in the care of 27-year-old Kryzie King, was found dead last week in a Manhattan apartment bathroom floor.

Court records show Myls was bound, gagged, beaten and burned during the three weeks King was taking care of the boy.

King, who was named Christopher at birth, has been charged with first-degree assault, reckless endangerment and unlawful imprisonment in the death of Dobson.

The child's father was arrested in Brooklyn, New York, on December 19 on an outstanding bench warrant stemming from a fraud case in New Jersey.

Police say Wade then turned over the care of his son to King.
