Woman accused of larceny gets bail extended

A woman who is accused of breaking into her former lover's car, had her bail extended in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Friday.

Charged with larceny from motor vehicle is Simone Montaque who pleaded not guilty.

She is to return to court on March 13 for trial.

Allegations are that on the day of the incident, the accused went to the complainant's home and broke into his motor vehicle.

It is alleged that Montaque stole the complainant's car radio, speaker, liquor and cigarettes.

The accused told the court that she was picked up at her home by the police and she didn't commit the offence.
