Hezron delivers commanding performance at Rebel Salute

Hezron is arguably one of the best of the current crop of reggae acts around today.

His performance last Friday night at Rebel Salute was testament to this. From the moment he took the stage, he signalled his intention to rock the house as he delivered a passionate rendition of his thought-provoking single, Can't Tek Di Pressure.

Changing up the pace with So in Love, he had females in the audience swooning. He turned up the heat with Can't Come Between, before closing off his set with the lovers rock favourite Forever and Always.

nice feeling

Hezron says he is pleased with the response he got from the audience at Rebel Salute.

"I'm very happy about the way the crowd accepted my performance, they showed me a lot of appreciation. It's a very nice feeling when you go onstage and perform and the people show you love."

He added, "This year, I will be doing a lot of shows. I will also be releasing a lot of new music. The fans will be hearing and see a lot more of Hezron this year."

Hezron is slated to perform on the 22nd annual Bob Marley Birthday Bash in Negril on February 6, alongside Marcia Griffiths, Lee Scratch Perry, and Luciano.

Also on the cards for Hezron is the shooting of a video for his new single called Land Of The Warriors.

"We are currently in the process of putting together the script for this video. This song has to have a special video. It's not an ordinary song, and the video has to be right. I want to shoot the video and have it out before the end of February," said.
