Thieves target, rob church

Another church has now suffered at the hands of thieves who struck early Tuesday morning stealing several items, including window panes, from the place of worship in St Elizabeth, THE STAR understands.

Information reaching our news desk is that thieves broke into the Lititz Moravian Church and stole window panes, computers, microphones and a public address system.

The incident has reportedly left church members and residents shocked. THE STAR gathered that the incident marked the fourth time that the church has suffered at the hands of criminals.

The items together valued approximately $300,000.

The matter has been reported to the police.
