Scores of patrons flocked the newly opened Cookies Daytime Go Go Club along the Port Henderson Road hip strip more popularly known as Back Road.

The club, which is an extension of the already established nocturnal sister club got good reviews.

"I think that it gives patrons a chance to take lunchtime and enjoy themselves in an atmosphere like this," a patron said.

"Whether it's dancing or playing dominoes, it's always better in the day, so I really appreciate the approach," another said.

When THE PORTMORE STAR visited the venue, many patrons indicated that they were impressed with the layout. It was air-conditioned with a well-stocked bar and a VIP area for those who want to be exclusively catered to.

A number of persons said that they hoped it would be supported.

"We think it will work out very well for those who want alternative entertainment along the strip," Jay, the manager, said.
