ANANDA ALERTS

12-year-old girl missing

A High Alert has been activated for 12-year-old Shamar James, of Bellefield district, Davyton, Manchester, who has been missing since Friday, January 17.

He is of brown complexion, slim build and is about 155 centimetres (5 feet one inch) tall.

Reports from the Mandeville police are that about 6:30 a.m., Shamar was last seen at home wearing his khaki uniform and a pair of brown shoes. He has not been seen since.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Shamar James is being asked to contact the Mandeville police at 962-2250, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.

Geovanni Whittingham

An Ananda Alert has been activated for 15-year-old Geovanni Whittingham, student of Comarty Grove, Spanish Town, St Catherine, who has been missing since Tuesday, January 21.

He is of brown complexion, slim build, and about 170 centimetres (5 feet 7 inches) tall.

Reports from the Spanish Town police are that Geovanni was last seen at home about 7:30 a.m., he was dressed in a white shirt and khaki pants. He has not been seen or heard from since. Several subsequent efforts to contact him have proven futile.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Geovanni Whittingham is being asked to contact the Spanish Town police at 984-2305, Police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.

Yanique Dennis

An Ananda Alert has been activated for 13-year-old Yanique Dennis of Queenbury Drive, Meadowbrook Estate, Kingston 19, who has been missing since Friday, January 24.

She is of brown complexion, medium build and is about 163 centimetres (5 feet 6 inches) tall.

Reports from the Duhaney Park police are that Yanique was last seen at home about 6 a.m., dressed in a purple tunic and grey blouse. She has not been seen or heard from since.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Yanique Dennis are being asked to contact the Duhaney Park police at 933-4280, Police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.

Spanish Town teens

The Spanish Town police in St Catherine have issued an Ananda Alert for two missing teens, who disappeared last week.

They are 14-year-old Neilda Morris, otherwise called 'Pinky', of Jobs Lane, in Spanish Town, and 16-year-old Alecia Douglas, of Lindo Close in St John Heights, also in Spanish Town.

The Spanish Town police said Morris, who has been missing since last Thursday, is of brown complexion, slim build and is about 163 centimetres (5 feet 4 inches) tall.

Reports received are that Morris was last seen at home about 6:45 a.m., dressed in a burgundy tunic and a yellow blouse. She has not been seen or heard from since. All subsequent efforts to contact her have been futile.

The police said Douglas, who has been missing since Friday, is of brown complexion, slim build and is about 168 centimetres (5 feet 6 inches) tall.

Reports from the police are that she was last seen at home about 1:30 a.m., dressed in a dark blue pullover, a cream pants and a pair of white slippers. She was subsequently discovered missing and several efforts to contact her have also proven futile.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Morris and/or Douglas is asked to contact the Spanish Town police at 984-2305, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
