Cops seek public's help in locating witnesses

Detectives from the Major Investigation Task Force (MIT) are seeking the public's assistance in locating two witnesses who are vital to two cases that are currently before the court.

They are Vincent Benjamin, whose last known address was Franklyn Town, Kingston 16, and 28-year-old Kemar Beckford of Lincoln Road, Kingston 5.

The police say Benjamin is scheduled to appear in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Gun Court at Half-Way-Tree, St Andrew, tomorrow.

Beckford is scheduled to appear in the same court on Wednesday.

The police are asking Benjamin, Beckford or anyone knowing their whereabouts to contact the Kingston and St. Andrew MIT at 922-1556, 922-5344 or 967-3377, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
