700 lbs of ganja seized
A team of officers attached to the Transnational Crime and Narcotics Division and the St James Operation Support Team seized more than 700 pounds of compressed ganja in Roehampton district, St James, during an operation on Tuesday morning.

Reports from the Montego Bay police are that, between the hours of 6:45 a.m and 10:45 a.m., the police were on an operation in the area when 711 pounds of ganja were found in bushes.

No one was arrested in connection with this incident. The drug has an estimated street value of J$3 million.

Investigations continue.
