Woman on fraud rap remanded

A woman accused of defrauding an insurance company of more than $400,000 was remanded in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate Court on Thursday.

She is Fedora Bailey, who pleaded guilty to two counts of larceny and one count of conspiracy to defraud.

Bailey's attorney requested that she be given time to make things right with the complainant by paying back the funds.

Senior Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey ordered her to return on March 19 for sentencing. A fingerprint order was also made.
