Wild Rides with technology

Wild Rides Party Rentals and e-learning website, TeachitTokids.org, have teamed up to bolster the educational and emotional side of the country's children.

With this partnership, children who score between 95 and 100 per cent on their tests on the TeachitTokids website, will gain Smart Points and, after accumulating a certain number of points, they will gain free access to the Kids Zone at the Wild Rides headquarters, to go on rides with two friends. The partnership was cemented during a launch at Wild Rides headquarters, Naggo Head Industrial Complex, last Wednesday.

Wayne Fagan, the CEO of Wild Rides, said his company is pleased to be a part of this project. "We have events right across Jamaica and we come in contact with a vast amount of children, and I think this initiative will motivate children to take more care with their education," he said.

Wild Rides Party Rentals is Jamaica's premier any-size-event party company. As one of the largest party companies in Jamaica, they have the capacity to handle large corporate events and go down to even the smallest children's backyard party.

Julian Robinson, minister of state in the Ministry of Science, Technology, Energy and Mining, said that the launch was timely as his ministry was planning to implement broadband technology right across Jamaica.

Meanwhile, children at the launch were very busy having fun on the rides as the adults went through the proceedings. There was also a presentation in martial arts by First Jamaica Zen-do Kai Kan Karate Organisation based at the Edgewater Community Centre.
