Tessanne Chin to perform at 9 Mile Music Festival

On the heels of a smashing performance at her official homecoming concert, NBC's 'The Voice' 2013 winner, Tessanne Chin, is getting ready to perform at the 9-Mile Music Festival in Miami this month, and Digicel is giving one of its customers a chance to see her in live and living colour.

This is made possible through the telecommunications company's latest promotion, "Tessanne Live in Miami", in which customers are encouraged to top up from January 17 to 31 for a chance to win an all-expenses paid trip for two to the concert in Miami, which will be staged on February 15, 2014.

In speaking to Tessanne during a tour of the Digicel headquarters in downtown Kingston, she said: "I am extremely proud and honoured to be sharing the stage with fellow Jamaicans. I am excited to finally get to that section of the US and perform with them because they have been such great support for me over the years and during The Voice."

Digicel's Head of Recharge, Annalise Harewood, said she is excited about the promotion.

Celebrating its 21st staging this year, the show's line-up will also feature performances by Damian Marley, Stephen Marley, Sean Paul, Lauren Hill, and Chronixx, among other performers.

The 9-mile Music Festival began as a labour of love that was pioneered by Cedella Marley Booker, Bob Marley's mother. The festival has had other names over the years but finally evolved in what is known today as the 9-Mile Music Festival.
