Cops need help finding Paul Hanson

The Westmoreland police are yet to locate the person of interest in relation to the death of a tourist in a jet ski accident in Negril, on January 28.

On Friday, Paul Hanson, otherwise called 'Oneil', was named a person of interest.

Yesterday they said the search for him was still on.

They are urging him to make contact with the Negril police.

The police also want anyone with information that can assist them to call 957-4268 or 957-4857.

The police are seeking to assure members of the public that they are keeping a keen eye on owners and operators of watercraft, especially in St Ann and Westmoreland.

They said as a result of ongoing investigations by the Marine Police, alongside the Tourism Product Development Company, 189 illegal operators of watercraft have been arrested 2013.

The police have also reporting the seizure of 42 illegal watercraft during the same period.
