Entrepreneurship seminar today

Joan Wright Good

Outsourcing Business Solutions LLC (OBSL), an international company, has partnered with Your Event & Entertainment Specialist Ltd (YEES) to present the second in the series of Entrepreneurial and Small Business Seminars Entrepreneurship - The New Normal (The Jamaican Edge).

This event will be held today at the New Kingston Conference Centre.

valuable tips

The initial seminar was held in Florida on October 26, 2013, at which seminar host and facilitator Joan Wright Good, along with Vicki Antonio, Patrice McHugh, Cynthia Thompson and Mike Rosenberry shared valuable tips about running a successful business.

It is the intention of OBSL and YEES to replicate the success of this seminar in Jamaica.

The intention is to draw to the fore a cohort of entrepreneurs who will benefit from the experiences of fellow successful business owners in varying fields of work.

Patricia McHugh, owner of Bars To Go, a leading company in the spirits industry, will again present an insight in the industry and encourage entrepreneurs on how to navigate through challenging economic times by way of tapping niche markets in order to maintain a competitive edge.

Other featured presenters will be Ralston Samuels, business relationship manager, RBC Royal Bank, who will share financial tips for the entrepreneur; attorney-at-law and entrepreneur, Grace Ann Cameron, will speak on the legal requirements for starting and maintaining a business, taxation and what every entrepreneur should know; Shalette East, vice-president, GoGSAT, will close out with Educating the Entrepreneur and Educating Yourself about Your Market.

The seminar is sponsored by RBC Royal Bank Jamaica and Sagicor Investments Jamaica Limited.
