Dancehall artiste The Ultimate said he is gearing up to release some new material which he believes will cement his place among the elite in a music industry.

The songs, which are not yet named, will be released in the coming weeks and will be a prelude to the singjay's first officially released mixtape titled My Goal.

Just recently, The Ultimate, real name Neil McFarlane, released a trio of hit songs in the form of IWill Survive, My Goal and Woman Mi Say. They are already gathering pace in key dancehall circles and have made the playlist for many disc jocks on local and international radio.

The Ultimate along with producer Triple-S, was seen in a recording session at Mixing Lab Recording Studio working on some new projects, which they are jointly producing.

This would not be the first time that the men have worked together on a music project. However, The Ultimate, who is also a writer and producer for his label Black Q Records, believes their newest projects will reap equal successes that the songs, aforementioned, are currently experiencing.

"We have a very good chemistry. Triple-S is a youth who understands a lot about music and you can see it when he is in his zone working on his music," he said.

"I believe that the new tracks, which include a mixture of one- drop, hardcore dancehall and lovers' rock, will achieve plenty success.

It's just a matter of time before I get that breakthrough in music, which I have been working so hard for."

The Ultimate, who resides in Portmore, St Catherine, is also known for the singles Caah Do Mi Nuttn, Over And Over, and I Wish.
