Lawmen probe double murder in Twickenham Park
Rasbert Turner, STAR Writer

The St Catherine Major Investigation Task Force has launched a probe into the murder of two men near Twickenham Park, St Catherine, yesterday.

Those killed have been identified as Leonard Plummer, 42, and Gordon Davidson, also 42-year-old, of New Nursery.

Reports are that about 3:30 p.m., both men were among persons sitting near a shop in the community, when two men walked up, brandished handguns and shot Davidson and Plummer repeatedly.

The gunmen simply walked away from the scene. Investigators visited the scene where more than 20 spent shells were recovered. The police have not established a motive for the double murder.

THE STAR was, however, informed that the men were killed over ongoing work in the area.

A strong police presence is now in the area
