Taking to Instagram yesterday, energetic electronic dance music group Major Lazer announced details of their EP, Apocalypse Soon.

The EP is their first official release of 2014 and is slated to be released on February 25 via the producer's Mad Decent Record Label in conjunction with Because Music.

It will feature a number of high-profile collaborations across the five tracks, including songs with US rapper Pharrell Williams, dancehall star Sean Paul, Trinidad's Machel Montano, and Jamaican dancehall duo RDX and Moska.

In the post on their official Instagram page, Major Lazer promoted two singles from the 5-track EP: Lose Yourself featuring RDX and Moska as well as Aerosol Can, with Pharrell Williams.

According to media reports from skiddle.com, the track featuring Pharrell Williams premiered on Zane Lowe's Radio One show a few weeks ago.

Although the official release will take place later this month, persons can pre-order songs from the EP via iTunes.

Major Lazer was founded by American DJ/producers Diplo and Switch but parted ways in 2011. When they separated, Diplo teamed up with DJs Walshy Fire and Jillionaire.
