Stone Love, Downsound for River Splash

Ninja Man

Stone Love and Downsound Records will roll into St Mary's Rivva Riddim venue with one ultimatum, to give patrons a memorable experience at Contractor's Marketing Family Fun Day and River Splash event.

The event will be held this Valentine's weekend. Event organiser Sean 'Contractor' Edwards is beaming with optimism at the prospect of having Stone Love and Downsound artistes as part of the event's entertainment package.

"Patrons can come expect the time of their lives with Stone Love and Downsound. It really can't get any better than that," said Edwards, who will co-host the event with the beautiful Ishawna.

Stone Love has held the baton as top dog in sound system industry. A recent sold-out crowd at its anniversary event serves as reminder that they are still a formidable force.

Downsound Records, with the likes of Ninja Man, Nature, Ishawna, Nazir, Don Husky and Harry Toddler, have been active and have enjoyed successes both in the streets and mainstream media.

They are expected to come up trumps, along with Irie FM's Digital Chris.

The event will have daytime features for children, rides and activities, including waterslides, train tracks, merry go round, bounce-a-bouts, clowns and face-paintings.

The event will also have a beauty pageant, Miss Jamaica North Coast, with participants from Portland to Westmoreland.

There will be a free shuttle service, every hour, from Ocho Rios to the venue.

Admission for the children will be free while adults are being asked to pay $500.
