Actor, comedian and businessman Rohan Gunter has decided to venture into another diverse industry, that of radio hosting.

The comedian is now travelling a road similar to that of counterparts Donald 'Iceman' Anderson and producer, actor and comedian Christopher 'Johnny' Daley.

Gunter will be the host of a programme called 'Go Hard Fridays' on Flexx FM, and according to Kenrick Brown, the managing director of the station, the comedian will add humour.

"Gunter was brought on board to add a little humour to the Friday morning programme. The programme is called 'Go Hard Fridays' and will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Friday. There was a three-week trial in January, and the response was well received. So it was made official on February 11 at the head office of Flexx FM radio, North University Drive in Plantation, Florida," Brown said.

The manager disclosed that he met the former 'Comedy Buss' winner prior to his employment at the station and felt a working chemistry.

"In 2012, Gunter came to the Flexx studio for an interview, and the vibes and energy was right and a friendship developed, and the idea was mentioned. Then, in 2013, he migrated to Florida, and we talked more about it and then in 2014 we decided the time is now right to make it official," said Brown.

'Go Hard Fridays', hosted by DJ TC and Gunter Nah Laugh, deals with news, entertainment, sports and weather.

Listeners are also given the opportunity to participate in engaging discussions live on air.

Up-and-coming artistes are asked to send their songs to flexxfm@gmail.com or for more information log on to www.flexxfm.com.

Gunter rose to fame after winning the 'Comedy Buss' competition in 2006 and joins Ragashanti as a Jamaican working on Flexx FM.
