Tafari's 'I Want You' video no.4 on Hit List

The video for Tafari's 'I Want You' (remix) has made it to number four on the popular Hit List video countdown show, which airs on CVM TV.

I Want You (remix) also features former Brick and Lace member Nyla. The video was shot in Miami and directed by Rona Cohen.

In a release to the media, Tafari was quite upbeat about the early success of the video.

"The response to the video has been all positive energy as to the picture quality, the beautiful girls, and how fun the video is," said Tafari.

Born Zambo Buchanan, Tafari is the son of veteran dancehall toaster Big Youth. The young Buchanan was introduced to music from an early age; hence his sojourn into music was inevitable.

"Thanks to Rona Cohen who directed the video and captured the fun and sexiness in the song. The making of the video was a collective effort of creative people, so it's natural for people to be receptive to art when it is good. I am not surprised, but I am stoked," Tafari noted.

I Want You (remix) is taken from Tafari's upcoming debut solo album Rud3 Lov3. The album features production work from Grammy-winning producers and musicians. It also features collaborations with Ce'Cile, Jimmy Cozier, and Big Youth, among others.

The video for I Want You (remix) is currently in rotation on RETV, HYPE TV and other music video outlets.
