Konfydence confident about 'Greatest Wine'

Not many new artistes are able to come up with another hit after making their breakthrough. That's not the case with fast- rising dancehall artiste Konfydence.

The talented female from Clarendon blasted her way on to the local music scene last year with the controversial hit, Some Bwoy A Bait.

The music video for the single, directed by Wayne South, went all the way to the top of CVM TV's Hit List On The Rise Chart.

"Some Bwoy A Bait opened the door for me, a lot of people love it. They find the lyrics and the video to be very funny. I am happy that it did so well, it has given me a platform to build on," said the artiste.

Konfydence is at it again with a hot new single, Greatest Wine. Produced by Jimmy Ricks on the Old Spice rhythm, the song is receiving strong airplay on a number of local radio stations, including IRIE FM and HITZ 92 FM.

"Greatest Wine is getting a lot of support. Everywhere I go people are talking about it. I'm not surprised it is getting such a good response, it's a very good song. As a young artiste, I know what the fans want, and I try my best to deliver a good product for them all the time."

A music video for Greatest Wine is currently in the works.

"Right now we are working on the video for the song. We shot a number of scenes, and we still have a few more to go. As soon as the video is done, it will be released," said Konfydence.
