G7 riding the rhythm of success

There's always room on the Jamaican dancehall scene for a lyrically potent and socially current deejay.

Having recorded numerous songs such as Gimme, Dem a Devil and Luv Yuh Right Now, Garfield Reid, aka G7, is ready to take his music to another level.

Signed to the Warrior Chief label and managed by T7G Music Production, G7 is enjoying strong social-media interest and heavy rotation on radio.

Originally from the inner-city community of Drewsland, St Andrew and Waterford Portmore, G7 cites the likes of General Trees, Papa San and Shabba Ranks as musical influences.

He also has a lot of respect for the talent of Damian 'Jr Gong' Marley and Vybz Kartel, his childhood friend.

His latest song Love Yuh Right Now on the 'Ice Box Riddim', leaves nothing to the imagination and is gaining tremendous traction in dances and featured on numerous mixtapes.

As G7 continues to record and promote great music, reggae and dancehall fans can expect to hear more creative offerings from this new artiste.
