Red Stripe kicks off

Red Stripe has signed on as title sponsor of this year's Brit Jam Ultimate Spring Break Festival in Montego Bay, from Wednesday March 5 to Tuesday March 11, 2014.

For the past five years, the Brit Jam team has invited and booked over 800 British nationals to travel to the island.

This year, Red Stripe anti-cipates that this year's staging will be even bigger, particularly with all that is planned for the seven days and nights of local parties in the western region of Jamaica.

According to Erin Mitchell, brand manager, Red Stripe, Brit Jam gives an amazing and fun-filled opportunity for visitors to enjoy our culture, entertainment and island.

"We are proud to be associated with this event, and fully support anything that will showcase Jamaica in a positive light and help to sell brand Jamaica," Mitchell said.

Celebrating five years since its inception, the promoters of the event have created a special fifth anniversary season band price, and has included a total of 11 parties for patrons to enjoy. This year's line-up includes parties such as Ciroc Blu Waves, Smirnoff Fire in the City, Red Stripe Glamorous and Heineken We love 90's, Red Stripe Spring Rave, Smirnoff Flesh Body Paint, Red Stripe Hydro Arena, Smirnoff J'ouvert Foam Fête, and Red Stripe Lingerie and Pajama.

Red Stripe will ensure that the drink responsibly message is conveyed and is fully promoted for all their events and affiliations across the island.

"In keeping with our drink right campaign, all consumers will be ID'd and banded before being able to access the events or the bars," Mitchell explained.

"All our events are exciting, and we expect this one to live up to expectations," she added.
