Cops probe suspected suicide case

The Spanish Town police are probing a case of suspected suicide after a man who was being sought in connection with the death of a 15-year-old girl was found hanging from a tree yesterday.

He has been identified as Ryan 'Fifty Cent' McCall, 26, of St John's Road in Spanish Town, St Catherine

Reports from the Spanish Town police are that about 8:20 a.m., cane cutters, who were working on the Worthy Park Estate, stumbled upon the body and summoned them. On their arrival, McCall's body was seen hanging by the neck from a piece of rope that was tied to a tree.

An on-the-spot post-mortem was conducted, which concluded that death was due to hanging.

Further investigations have revealed that McCall was being sought by the police in relation to the slaying of 15-year-old Rachel Robinson on St John's Road on Wednesday, February 26.
