41-y-o man dies from injuries

A 41-year-old man died as a result injuries he received following a motor vehicle mishap in Hanover yesterday morning, police have reported.

The dead man has been identified as Jermaine Parkinson of Tower Hill district, St James,

The police said the incident occurred at the intersection of Watson Taylor Drive and Church Street in Hanover.

According to reports from the Lucea police, about 1:20 a.m., Parkinson was driving his Toyota Corolla motor car when on reaching the intersection; he lost control of the vehicle, which went over an embankment.

Police said he was taken to the hospital where he died. Investigations continue.
