Patrons taste the Good Life

Shereita Grizzle, Star Writer

All roads led to Bengae Lawn, Golden Spring, recently as scores of guests braved the rains to get a taste of 'Good Life'.

Early rains threatened to put a damper on the event, held in recognition of Bloodstain's seventh anniversary, but devoted partygoers waited in their cars or took shelter under sheds until the rains eased.

Bloodstain's DJ Blacks got things going in the early stages and kept the music flowing as it rained with a slew of hits that had patrons rocking to the beat beneath sheds.

He then made way for ZJ Ice but not before showing his support towards the legalization of marijuana. The rains eased and patrons again took their places on the lawns.

Declaring the showers a sign of blessing, the experienced ZJ Ice proceeded to use the rains to boost his time on the turntables. He warmed things up inside the venue with Luciano and Sizzla's Jah Blessings.

By 2 a.m., the venue was filled to capacity and, with the rain gone for good, the energy level inside the venue was turned up.

Patrons partied into the early hours of the morning. As The STAR team made its exit at 5 a.m., 'Good Life' was still very much in full swing.
