Tifa shows musical diversity

In a competitive industry, female artistes have to exercise their musical diversity to stay ahead of the pack. Dancehall artiste, Tifa, has teamed up with two notable producers and the result has been quite rewarding.

I'm Still Standing, a rousing ear candy produced by Donovan Germain for Penthouse Records, sees the artiste highlighting her vocal chops under a bed of musical instrumentation.

"Donovan Germain is an icon and a living legend. I was eager to learn from him more than anything else," Tifa said in a media release.

I'm Still Standing is featured on Penthouse Records' Fret Board rhythm. It is the first time that Tifa has worked with the renowned label, which has established itself internationally with a plethora of hits from some of dancehall and reggae music's biggest names.

Another collaboration which Tifa recently completed is Body Up, which was produced by Stephen 'Di Genius' McGregor.

Body Up has been receiving positive feedback from fans locally and overseas and its airplay has already burst through the seams. The last time Tifa worked with Di Genius was on 2009's Tick It Like A Clock.

Fans who have been waiting for new videos from Tifa, should be relieved to know that clips for the chart-topping singles Bak It Up, Body Up, and Out Of This World (Sex Mate Medley) are to be completed over the next few weeks.

Tifa's current releases include This Love (Barbwiya Music), which features Yahsha and projects from Chimney and Anchor records.
