Reggae-dancehall firebrand,Saba Tooth, has been able to soldier on with his revolutionary brand of music despite crippling personal tragedies.

"I lost my brother and father and mother in the last six years, so it has been a tough time. I lost my father in 2008 when he lost eight pints of blood and they gave him pressure tablets instead of blood, setting off an allergic reaction," he explained.

Saba Tooth's mother followed not long after."I then lostmy mother last year in questionable circumstances with the hospital system, but I pull through 'cause I know dat's what they would have wanted. Mi have it like a war dem declare pon me, but mi hold mi faith and mi humility and go through," he said.

He has been generating a lot of attention in the reggae industry with his latest album, the brash, inventive The Revolution is Right Now.

The album, the deejay's fifth, has spawned singles such as the title track, The Revolution Is Right Now, Blood Of Jah People and Hold The Faith. The singles have been getting airplay on IRIE FM, ZIP, Hitz, Bess, HOT 102, Mello FM and RJR.

"I just want to give thanks for the maximum support from the disc jockeys, and I want to thank them for their support to make the revolution possible," he said.

Saba Tooth recently released a video for The Revolution Is Right Now, which is getting steady rotation on several video channels.
