Tuggawar NO. 1 with 'Ganja'

United Kingdom-based reggae artiste, Tuggawar, has made the reggae front page of iTunes UK and USA for his 16-track album 'Ganja'.

Ganja, which was released on February 3, is the singjay's third album since he became a professional in 2002. It has since shared top spots on iTunes reggae USA and UK with Sean Paul's newest reggae album titled Full Frequency.

All tracks were produced and mixed by Very Huge Records' Chester Walker with Rohan 'Snow Cone' Fuller as a joint producer for track eight. The album is being distributed by PMI Reggae, which is a major UK-based record company.

The artiste, who hails from Hackney, London, said he is very excited about his future in music referring to successes of his latest album as valid reasons.

"I am very confident and very optimistic because the album is doing extremely well on iTunes and elsewhere worldwide," said Tuggawar, real name Neofytos Neofytou.

According to the artiste, people are taking a liking to Love Weed, which is being touted as the next ganja anthem worldwide. Veteran dancehall artiste Mr Lexx also features on the album for the single High Grade Ganja.

Tuggawar, who first started working with Walker in 2005 for the single Dark And Blue on the March rhythm, is hoping the album will bring him more successes locally after a rather positive start.

"I had a good start to my music career back in 2002, but I had to endure personal issues soon after. However, I have performed on several top shows like Sting, Champions In Action, and Irie Jamboree. So far, a lot of people are excited over my album, so I hope it will bring me more successes both locally and internationally," he said.

Tuggawar has also recorded and released singles such as Party and Bun It Up, featuring Freedom.
